The apartment was exceptionally clean, Close to the shops , parking a little tight with a larger car , had a lovely stay

Friendly hosts. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Comfortable rooms. Ideal location within walking distance to local pubs/eateries.

Excellent accommodation. Can not fault it. Very friendly greeting upon arrival. Rooms are nice decorated and clean. Will be staying again.

What a lovely welcoming hotel in the centre of the village. Our dog had his own special treat on arrival of Posh dog wine. This made us all smile. I had let them know it was are anniversary and we also had a lovely surprise in our room. But oh my goodness the food it phenomenal from breakfast to lunch and then dinner WoW! Thank you for making our stay so lovely. We will be back

Great location

Having read all the reviews my friend and I were so excited to be staying for two nights. We thought we would try somewhere different to our favorite place at Bolton Abbey and went with high expectations. Absolutely top class in EVERY respect. Outstanding friendly, helpful, but also kind staff, a real team feel and a team who are clearly happy and proud to work there. Great to have air con in the dining room and also to have options to sit out in the fantastic weather to eat and drink....

Really friendly and helpful owner. Room is perfectly acceptable and in a great location. We stayed with our two year old, there's a little park across the road on the village green which was ideal for him, so great place to stay with children. Plenty of parking all around and you can get meals in pub. Lovely generous breakfast, my only critisicm is breakfast is from 9, which is a little late for us as early risers but understandable as they are working in the pub until late, then up again early...

It was excellent value, comfy and cosy. Loved that there was a bath AND shower (useful if you break your wrist so bath is the only option). Staff were really nice and helpful, and cheered me up after hospital with hot chocolate. No food as out of season (so check first if you want breakfast). I would go back though as great base for walks

Cosy cottage, comfy beds, large fluffy towels, good heating, easy to control. Kitchen well stocked, utensils that worked( knives sharp, plenty of pots and pans) Great location for exploring the Yorkshire countryside, nice walk into Askrigg which has nice pubs, food, artisan shop. Owners responded to queries quickly . Note to tall people, watch your head on upstairs bathroom ( I am 150cm and banged my head). This added character to the cottage.

Very cosy house. Perfect for three adults on a walking holiday. Lovely hot shower. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect location for many lovely walks. Shame about the soft mattresses in the twin room. Otherwise faultless.

This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...

Nice big property in centre of Middleham - gateway to Wensleydale. Large rooms sleeping up to 6 and large social kitchen area. The gem is the garden offset from house which is a sun trap all day long, We were lucky with weather and made full use of this ! Recommended property.

A comfortable cottage with all necessary amenities, including a wood burning stove and plenty fuel. Located in a small village near a friendly pub. Village shop is only open half days but Leyburn with a range of shops and places to eat is only 4 miles. Great area for walking

Free car parking! Easy to find , nice modern bedroom , shower ,tv , coffee tea etc , We managed to get the key early , Breakfast was Cooked freshly for us .

First off, Sue (the owner) is just the best! I phoned in advance and asked a couple of favours of her, to put a couple of gifts in the room to surprise my girlfriend. Not only did she do it but she did it for less than budget! (If you do ask something of her like this, it's only fair to reward the wonderful lady with a gift of her own. OK?! Haha!)
