The Green Dragon Inn - Hardraw

"The place is fab, full of history, full of quirky nooks; the food too is utterly delicious, and I have to say it's easy to be greedy with. We had two rooms booked, and they were the smallest rooms we have ever stayed in; the bathrooms were extra tiny too, but we managed for a night. Apart from being really small, it was cosy and comfy if you sat/lay on the bed watching TV. We had a good nights sleep and enjoyed our trip but we are not big people so just a note to cosider the type of room you book the "standard double" is what we booked but go larger next time."

"Hotel is very nice, the public areas are really comfortable. The coffee shop and lady working in there was excellent- she was rushed off her feet but was really friendly and efficient. All the staff I met are to be commended for their friendly attitude and professionalism. The car park is large and easy to get in and out. The room, bed, pillows were very clean and in my opinion extremely comfortable. The Breakfast was great 😊. I really enjoyed the one night I stayed and hope to stay again."

"Nice hotel with friendly staff and a lovely comfy bed. Three bathrooms are fitted with quite noisy fans and that sound seems to travel easily from room to room. I’m a heavy sleeper but my partner isn’t and our dog wake him a few times"
