"Room was clean and tidy, shower was fantastic. Dinner was not good, two attempts at serving sirloin steak, both steaks impossible to cut through the sinew. Bill was cancelled. Breakfast was good. Excellent village square location."

"Nice room, albeit quite small, overlooking the main square. The breakfast was very good and all the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Parking is on the square outside the property, come early on a Saturday as the square gets very busy."

"We stayed at Tan Hill for part of our honeymoon and it was perfect. We stayed in Pennine view superior room and it was breathtaking. Spotlessly clean, perfect in everyway. Great choice of drinks in the bar, staff were fantastic. Breakfast was simply amazing. Great circular walk down to keld across the Pennine way"
