"With virtually nothing available in Wilkesboro for Floydfest we found this very nice cabin in Todd. 45 min to Wilkesboro but an easy ride and not a dealbreaker. Cabin was very nice, quiet with a nice view of the New River right across the street. Wish I had brought my fly rod!"

"We loved spending our 30th wedding anniversary at Mountain Song Cabin. The views are wonderful--ponds, green fields, and multiple mountain ranges. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub. The cabin itself is cozy and old-fashioned. The beds are big and comfortable. The location was good for trips into Boone and Blowing Rock. I'd definitely stay again."

"What a great place! Peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t hang outside by the fire pit but the screened in porch is a nice extension of the home. The hosts reached out to make sure everything was going well and it was. There is a gas station/cafe around the bend and the cafe has really good food, especially for breakfast. The gas station has hunt brothers pizza and that was good as well....

"We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location. A brook wanders past the front of the property. Most of the house is updated and recently painted. A few items are worn, but overall, the place is lovely for a small group - it sleeps 5 at most."

I would suggest you bring a small shovel to clean out he ashes in the fire pit as it was full. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is I would clean the grates in the grill and grease them. Of course I loved it online, but it exceeded all my expectations upon walking through the front door, scratch that, upon pulling in the driveway. "You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing."
