"A beautiful castle hotel. Nicola was a gracious hostess. She gave us a lovely history of the area and the castle, which made staying their even more enjoyable. "The hotel is beautiful. We stayed in the Crathes suite which was lovely but...the bed was really, really hard and the pillows were not of a quality that I would expect from a suite. "Fantastic liaison between one of my friends and the manager when I was caught out in a poor comms area. The manager sent a 'rescue taxi' and great thanks are due him and Ivor (the taxi driver). "We had a wonderful short break, just two nights. Will book for longer the next time. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful.
