"An excellent stay. Large well appointed rooms. Staff was gracious. Very comfortable bed. Lovely view and blackout curtains. The rooftop restaurant had a wide array of selections that allowed for a light or full meal. The breakfast alone would be a reason to come back. 10 minute walk to ferry terminal. Most highly recommended. "

"The property was in a convenient location for the ferry port, which we used for transportation from Crete to Athens. The hotel staff were excellent and always helpful. The only drawback is that it is hard for any tour transportation to pick us up at the hotel. "

"We were stuck in Heraklion for an evening and fortunately fell upon Artree. We were so pleasantly surprised. We received a text with all of the information to enter the building and unit. The room is very nicely decorated, the bathroom clean (and quite spacious). The shower was wonderful, considering all of the small showers that I have had during this trip. While the location is not too bad, it is still about a 20 minute walk to more cafes, restaurants etc. we did stumble upon a mom and pop local restaurant. While we enjoyed the food and service, it might not be for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our very short visit at Artree and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable “room”. "
