"Great stay, we arrived while the hotel waa experiencing a local power cut and the team on duty couldn't have been more helpful. It was all resolved quickly and we had a brilliant weekend. The spa was clean and well maintained, breakfast was well cooked and the hotel was spotless. We stayed in a loft room with a sauna, steam room and spa bath and it was gorgeous. Light and airy with lots of space, we'll definitely be back!"

"The accommodation was very good. The rooms were like small apartments in the grounds of the property & were spacious with a seating area & a balcony overlooking the gardens & the bathroom was clean & well kept. Nice & quiet position. Parking for each room directly outside each room. The signage for the hotel could be a little better as it is only pointing one way so we drove past & had to turn around & go back. Breakfasts were really good. Lots of choice with cereals, fruit etc & lots of choice for cooked food which was delicious. It is literally 2 minutes walk to the lake side & boats & town centre with lots of cafes & restaurants."

"Great breakfast, room was good, but found some dirty pillows. Rooms are not soundproof so you will hear everything from next rooms or from upstairs. You're not allowed to buy food from outside and dinners but expensive."

"This is such a stunning hotel. It’s our 3rd time staying and we can’t wait to come back. We’re both vegan and I’m GF and the food is fantastic. They also have noseco which was fab. We absolutely love the spa so the facilities really do give it that extra edge."

"A beautiful hotel in a perfect location in Grasmere away from the more crowded areas of the south Lake District. The hotel is clean and well-maintained with helpful staff and a very welcome health spa with jetted pool, sauna and steam room. The location on a beautiful lake opposite the historic William Wordsworth Dove Cottage really could not be more ideal. A five star experience: we extended our stay due to the excellence of the hotel and it's ideal location."
