Riverside Hotel

"We had a wonderful stay at the Riverside Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. A special thank you to Sandor at the front desk, who was incredibly welcoming, kind, and polite. He made check-in smooth and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. A huge shout-out as well to Hayleigh, Brandon, and Becky at the bar. They were so warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. The cocktails were absolutely amazing—especially the Passionfruit Daiquiri and the Strawberry Daiquiri, which were some of the best we've had! The excellent customer service from everyone really made our stay memorable. We'd happily recommend the Riverside Hotel and can't wait to return."

"Lovey view from room 53 balcony despite on-going building works. Spacious and relaxing room, although I don’t know what the purpose of so many cushions on the bed are. Breakfast had a great choice and my cooked selection was excellent. Helpful and friendly staff. Had to wait now and then at busy times."

"We have just returned from a two night stay in a garden room.The view from our room was super and the view from the hotel across Windermere was fantastic.The staff were very friendly.We enjoyed a tasty full English breakfast with local produce.There was plenty of choice if you wanted to eat cereals, etc. The reception, breakfast room and the bar are stylishly designed.The hotel is undergoing renovations, but this did not impact us at all as it was at the other end of the hotel. Our room was compact but had everything we needed . I would have appreciated a fridge in the hot weather. Parking is extra but we just left our car for the whole time there and walked or caught a steamboat at the nearby pier. The location of the hotel was so convenient with a 2 minure walk into Bowness, full of places to eat and lovely walks along the lake. We will defiitely stay here again.The hotel is authentic and full of history."
