Central, newly refurbed, car park nearby, good value only downsize is that it said it was dig friendly but the cost is £30 per night per pet, so dog slept in the car...

Locate on the shoreline of Helensburgh & very close to event hall I was attending. Room with no view but it was a lovely cosy room onsuite beautifully decorated fabulous mirrior. Bar lovely atmosphere, staff genuine happy to help out. Lucky to park outside it but theres a big carpark not too far away.

Our stay at the hotel was a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was superb. The hotel is located a short distance from the town. I would certainly recommend this hotel to any visitors to Dunoon who are looking for a good hotel at a reasonable price.

Stayed here for a wedding reception, hotel was nice and room we had was ideal for our needs. Food was good as well both in terms of bar meal and breakfast.

Stayed at Knockderry House several times and again this time April 23 it was as fab as ever. Love this hotel. Beautiful location. Absolutely stunning food. Lovely staff. Lovely room. Cant fault it. Cant wait to return again.

This was a good value nice pub with good rooms dinning and breakfast. Nice beer snd food. Not fancy fine dinning but just what I wanted after a long walk. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel right on the side of the Loch a 30 minute walk into town, but has a great restaurant and bar on site. Fab for Loch side walks, parking on site and free

Great base to explore the area. Easy check in/out. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Great power shower and comfy bed. Good value for money.

Booked a short notice overnight stay in one of the upgraded pods. It was very nice with a very nice location. It was really quiet and peaceful. We booked dinner in the restaurant and the staff wee attentive, accomodating and very polite. The food choice wasnt huge but the quality of the food was good. We were on a tight budget so expected something quite basic for what we paid. Amazingly great value for money. We were put in what looked like a newly refurbished room with a great view of the woodlands. The room was immaculate and perfect for an overnight stay. The staff were friendly, with one lovely ginger boy telling us lots of stories about the hotel and its origins, and one tall waiter finding us a seat looking onto the arena despite those tables all being reserved (sorry that I forgot the actual names!) I stayed with two friends to do some walking in the Trossachs and Loch Lomond area. Our primary requirement was for somewhere of a reasonable standard within easy driving distance of where we wanted to walk. In the event, the Abbotsford Hotel delivered all that we wanted and more. 2 good nights sleep. Good size room. King sixe bed and matress zzzzzz. Both meals and breakfasts were great. The staff are very pleasant and polite. They actually look like they enjoy working there. This could be because it is an NHS run hospital so less stressful on the staff. The views are of the River Clyde. Both days we watched the last ocean going steam paddle ship sail past it is the best sight and sound.

Superb luxury hotel .. right on the Loch yet 20 miles or so from Glasgow . Very top end spot yet totally unpretentious . Food was amazing, room clean and comfortable

fantastic family night. Great value for money. Food was out of this world!!! Only issue the room phone did not work and reception staff told us to contact reception from the room but all the phones in our building have been down for weeks. Pool and spa facilities great. Looking forward to coming back.
