"Spent 3 nights in Cedar lodge at the end of August, had the most amazing relaxing time. The hosts done everything possible to make the break a memorable stay. The lodge itself was very spacious and had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean, would go back again without hesitation."

"We were not informed of the internet password. We did not have any hotel information available as it transpires the info booklets were behind ghe reception desk. We also tried to walk into the town but could not because the gate is coded. We did not know this prior to walking as we had no info. The radiator in the bathroom was scolding hot. We did advise reception and supposedly it was repaired. Sadly it was not .. we slept with three windows open and two fans running all night! Interestingly there was no bedside light these are being “phased out”. Also our room was not serviced because we had not hung the service room sign on the outside handle. What sign ? The individual staff were very pleasant but somehow the hotel assume the guests are mind readers. I’ve never stayed anywhere quite like it. "
