The whole hotel is only around a year old and everything still seems like it's brand new. The breakfast was superb, the room was really nice and there's excellent on site parking in the two level underground carpark too. Will definitely be going back - Thanks.

Brilliant attention to detail !! The owners treated us like old friends, and as it was or 34 wedding anniversary they had laid on various presents and extras. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a great stay. We were warmly welcomed and our room with bathroom was a good size and really clean. The bed was perfect. Breakfast was fantastic and we were really well looked after. Location is great for the sea front, bars, shops and bus and train station. Highly recommended.

We booked a last minute one night stay. I felt slightly nervous after reading some reviews but there was no need to be. From the moment we booked until leaving the staff couldnt be more helpful. From making sure we got booked into the spa to allowing us to use the spa changing rooms for the outside pool ater checking out. We even had drinks delivered to us whilst in the hot tub. We were on the first floor and had a lovely view over the pool and harbour. We couldn't have been more pleased and...

We had a fantastic break, the hosts were perfect, the facilities great and we enjoyed the most amazing food. The breakfast buffet was extensive with a great range of local and home made produce and this was all followed by a mesmerising choice of hot food which included local produce. There was cake on hand all day along with fresh tea and coffee and the hosts couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great stay.

Lovely hotel. Good breakfast options. Clean rooms. Convenient location. Room much larger than expected.

This is a great place to stay in Torquay. We were met with a lovely warm welcome from the owners who made us feel very welcome from the start. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the owners couldn't do enough for us and our 1 year old. We will definitely be returning.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Room was very comfortable, clean and well set out. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

We’ve only stayed a night but thoroughly enjoyed it. James and Garry are top hosts.

Amazing breakfast with extremely helpful staff. Room was very clean with all the little extras that make your stay special.

A lovely place. Very welcoming and a full breakfast. Exactly what we needed. Thank you.

Really enjoyed our weekend away. The Charterhouse is within walking distance of the beach and the town. Perfect on a sunny day! Beautiful, well looked after grounds with outdoor seating and a swimming pool. Marion and Les are lovely and very helpful, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They have a vast knowledge of the area and lots of ideas for days out. Breakfast is great and so much choice, definitely sets you up for a busy day of sightseeing! Their homemade bread, jams and...

Excellent stay, everything was perfect!! Thank you so much!!

Friendly host, beautiful room with lovely little extras, fantastic breakfast

Always a warm welcome at the Clifton by Claire and Steve.

Lovely small boutique hotel near the quayside with friendly staff and nicely decorated. Very busy with a coffee shop and restaurant on lower ground. Being one of the oldest buildings in the town it has low ceilings, steep stair cases, beams and wonky floors! The bedrooms are spotlessly clean and our bed and pillows were very comfortable. Free WiFi, bottled water, tv, tea & coffee, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and USB plug points besides the bed are included. A couple of rooms are on the...

Jane and John were very friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable and clean and they made a great breakfast each day.

This is a brilliant place to stay in Brixham. Charming owners and perfect location.

Comfortable stay in a clean, warm room. Friendly and efficient reception and restaurant staff, and a lovely breakfast.
