"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

"The apartment was great, due to being a ground floor apartment they need to focus on the mustiness and either let people know if it’s dog friendly or cigarette friendly!! Jo was super good if there was an issue apart from the Wi-Fi was not great!!!!! Basics need to be looked at like a bottle opener, bought one and left it for the next occupants, all in all would stay there again."

"The staff, we found to be friendly, helpful and efficient. Room bedding and towels were clean with replacements available if required. Rooms were serviced alternate days, but also on request. Breakfasts were well presented with plenty of choices from hot, cereals, fruit, pastries etc We had dinner most evenings, which we enjoyed, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses. Also sandwiches were available if requested at lunch time in the bar."
