Carrying luggage up and down was very challenging particularly as Torquay is not the kind of resort that attracts younger guests. "We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

"Une petite maison typique, très confortable, toute proche du port de Brixham, rien à redire. C’est confortable, joli, bien placé, et le centre de Brixham est vraiment très chouette. My only reservation was that the room is a quite small and therefore the bathroom cramped- it was difficult to wash in the basin as it was very close to the door."

"We loved our stay at buntings in Brixham. A great quiet location, 15 mum walk to town, beach or berry head nature reserve. The beds are very comfy, the living space is great for all and a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked every night as we had a toddler with us. Great that we could take our dog too. We would highly recommend and hope to return as a family group next year. Brilliant value, thanks very much to our hosts."

"2nd stay here, lovely place. Only negative was a coat hanger that had been thrown on ledge outside our window that we had to look at as we admired the view and no mattress protector on the bed. Towels were poor but we will still return. Beautiful bed and bathroom Even had a regular visit from a seagull."
