"Perfect for an overnight stopover"

"What a great find. Just needed an overnight near the motorway for travel purposes. Lovely place. On check in I mentioned I would be leaving before breakfast and the staff said they would have a breakfast bag ready for me when I left (without me even asking). Sure enough it was ready for me when I left at 5.30am next morning. Room was more like a small suite. Also used room service during the stay which was great "

"This was truly special. I took my 10 year old daughter hoping it would be worth the bus ride from London, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. We rented Tudor costumes and walked all around taking lots of photos. My daughter was in heaven. The Anna of Cleves room was luxury accommodations and absolutely worth it. The bed was so comfortable! The three course dinner was delicious, and my daughter was allowed to order off the kids menu which she found to be exactly what she wanted. Breakfast was great also! The staff couldn't have been nicer and really seem to enjoy their jobs. I think it is perfect for a one night magical stay. It was a splurge and it felt like we got more than we paid for! We certainly made the most of it and will never forget it. "

"Overall it was lovely but the bed was a double with two singles pushed together and our legs kept slipping in between. Also i know it was a very old building but the floor was very uneven and we felt drunk even though we wasn't which was daunting. "
