"Dont judge a book by it's cover! I pulled into the car parking thinking I was barely going to get an 'ok' stay but I was wrong! My Room was in great condition, clean, GREAT shower, modern looking, LOADS of USB Ports and Sockets around the room, water and Shortbread, it was just what I needed after a long day. One gripe, the Aircon was left on 25° heat, full blast and the room was boiling! Worse, the aircon didnt do cooling so I had to leave the door open to get some heat out. Didnt have...

"Stayed in the balcony room, was absolutely fantastic, so spacious and comfortable, had a mini kitchen with microwave and all equipment you could need for a short stay. Excellent location to walk to shops and restaurants. Parking available outside, approx £4 for 2 hours, but from 6pm - 8am it is free, we got up at 8am to put a ticket on just in time before the Traffic Warden arrived so be aware of this. Only issue we had was that you are unable to control the heating in any way. Room was cold...

"Our stay was very relaxing and Carol made us so welcome (as did the gorgeous dogs). The Blorenge room has a beautiful view and you can walk down to the River Usk from the house, where we saw and heard so many bird species, and watched fish jumping for insects. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We had a tour of the farm which was really interesting. We were sad to leave and would definitely stay here again."

"Nice place with very considerate hosts. One morning we mentioned to Arthur that the frying pan was warped and a bit difficult to cook with, and when we returned that evening a bag with a new pan was hanging on the door. Arthur also made some good recommendations for visiting local attractions. Enjoyable stay."
