Find the Best Kingstone Bed and Breakfast

"I visit Gloucester fairly regularly with work and will stay here 9 out of 10 trips. Its 5 minutes drive away from the center on Gloucester. It has plenty of amenities within 5 minutes walk and the canal is only a 10 minute walk away. The place itself has a nice feel to it, good food and clean rooms, ample parking. It ticks a lot of boxes"

"Avoid this place! Cheap for a reason There was no food available as the restaurant was closed for refurbishment (without any prior warning) there was no hot water in my room (seems common now I’ve read other reviews) for most of the time when there was the shower was unusable as it was so hot. The WiFi kept dropping out. Staff were unhelpful about my issues. Thank god it was 1 night, back to IHG for me "

"If hosting an event or wedding this place is probably fine but when you are a tourist it is miles from everything. This hotel is completely rural, you cannot walk to any pubs or restaurants, the town is a 12-15 drive. Staff are great, zero complaints. It is a bar area amd restaurant but the bar lacks charm and atmosphere. Plenty of parking. The rooms are fine but dated and the hotel does not have a lift. If you are planning to tour the general area as a tourist i recommend something closer to town where there is more to do around you"

"I would not stay again, our double bedroom had very tired decor, peeling paint, lots of dust and cobwebs, and overlooked a flat roof/ fire escape. Seems like the room had been slapped with lots of green paint in attempts to modernise it. Not sure how the accommodation can be described as luxury. If we had been staying for more then one night I would have left early. The parking is very limited, but that is stated when booking. Staff at reception were friendly when booking in."

"Great room cleaned everyday. Swimming pool warm and clean the kids loved it. Mr Chin on reception very helpful and gave advice about where to visit. Would come again. Restaurant could have more food choices but what was there was delicious"
