The hotel staff was all so kind, but if you lingered in the lobby for more than a minute, a staff member would approach you to sell you a hotel discount on a future stay. The Wi-Fi was extremely spotty and unreliable. I was disappointed to have gone 2/3 nights without a solid connection. The location of this hotel was quite good - 5-minute walk to Penn Station and close to some food places and souvenir shops. Not to mention, it neighbours a fabulous coffee was shop, Vanilla Gorilla, which we regularly frequented. The outskirt of the building was relatively quiet overall, compared to other NYC stays."
