"Glamorous hotel, faded in places and could do with a little refurb in the bedroom corridors and around the pool, but we had a lovely stay, the facilities are great and our room was well-appointed. Great location, right next to the station and lovely view of Torquay. We will definitely return."

"This hotel was a great find in Torquay. 10min walk from the Harbour/ Beach although note to others it’s up a steep hill. The spa was fantastic and even better within the price of room, you are given towels, bath robes and flip flops to use which was a lovely touch. Ladies - not only are there hair dryers but hair straighteners in the spa changing room! We didn’t eat at the Hotel so can’t advise but the tea/coffee tray has an endless selection of herbs teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Our room was on the ground floor by the roadside and you couldn’t hear anyone so lovely and quiet. Will definitely return when we have a night free from the kids!"

"Great Staff and Management friendly and welcoming, make you feel like home away from home. Parking is right in front of the hotel and there is lots of parking. Rooms are spacious and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Spacious and relaxing lounge and bar area. A mere two-minute walk to the beach and a lovely promenade, for a walk. "

"As always excellent..fab location for harbour and station ,relaxed breakfast area and so nice to see so many people with well behaved dogs able to enjoy a stay..dont let a pet friendly hotel put you off,it is immaculately clean and there are 2 areas at breakfast 1 pet friendly, all round excellent consistent accommodation. "Beautiful place, beautiful room and amazing food. I was a little bit disappointed that breakfast has now become a buffet for the "continental" part of it, even drinks are self serve. When we were there before it was all traditional table service and felt a bit nicer. It was still a great breakfast I would just prefer the old way! The outdoor pool was lovely and the spa was nice too. Views are incredible. Staff are veryfriendly and welcoming.Would definitely go back!"
