The George Hotel Easingwold

The George Hotel Easingwold

8/10 Good
"Hotel was lovely warm and welcoming. Our dog friendly room was out the back so great to be away from the pub itself as quieter. The bed was really comfortable and the room a good size. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. What let it down was the evening meal. My husband had the slow cooked ribs but unfortunately they were all fat. And I had the lamb which was chewy and fatty too and only 4 tiny pieces. Both meals were cold. Definitely very disappointing food."

"Our second visit here. Excellent central location, room, size, Parking, food, and staff. this time, we got put in the annex next door to the hotel, and the rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Harrogate is an excellent base to explore Yorkshire. Quite unique in its layout with parks that extend into the downtown area."

DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa

DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"A fabulous stay. The delicious cookies on arrival were a lovely surprise and our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our one night stay including shampoo, conditioner and shower gel! The spa was beautiful and so relaxing and the breakfast was great value for the price. Great location with easy walking distance to the beautiful town of Harrogate. Bar staff were very chatty and attentive but we found the reception staff not that friendly and also breakfast staff failed to get our hot drinks on arrival. Would be useful to have spa times and a spa menu with massages etc in the room. Overall a lovely relaxing stay! Would definitely return."
