"The property is well maintained and well position for a visit to all of Yorks attractions. It would have been great to have onsite parking but a car park was available close by at a reasonable charge. The staff were helpful and informative. "We didn't receive a particularly warm welcome on arrival but bar and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was basic but fine for a short stay and the bed was comfortable. However, the noise from the streets outside (all night) affected our sleep. "
