We booked a room at Swans for a week in the off-season to relax and get away from the prairie winter. we were upgraded from a single bedroom to a double without asking. All the staff were very friendly; everyone from the folks at reception, to the restaurant and bar staff to the cleaning staff were engaging and made you feel welcome. Very clean rooms with a well-equipped kitchen. Very quiet room facing away from the street. Great original artwork throughout the hotel. We were able to see several other rooms and look forward to staying in different rooms when we return, because we will be back.
" 12 night stay after sale of home, start of rental"
okay but your company cast me double on parking. If I had booked directly the hotel would have charged $7.50 but your charge was $15. per day.
extras in room were hit and miss IE) no coffee packs for three days the double for a couple then none again.
Food was excellent, staff very friendly. Will stay again if needed.
Great location to downtown.
We enjoyed our stay at the Parkside hotel. We upgraded our room to a two bedroom suite upon check in and were able to enjoy beautiful views and lots of extra indoor space. The hotel pool and hot tub area was perfect for a swim and soak at the end of a long shopping day. The hotel is close to lots of amenities including the museum, inner harbour, shopping, restaurants and pubs. Lots to see and do with only short walk.
On site we enjoyed walking around the hotel and watching the koi fish in the indoor and outdoor ponds and water falls. On our last day we took advantage of the in house European continental breakfast near the lobby. It was a great way to start the day.
Looking forward to a return visit.
This was a last minute booking and our regular hotel was not available. Paul's price and location was right so we gave it a try. This motel is reminiscent of traveling the country in the 70's. Everything that you need is on site, the rooms aren't fancy but they are comfortable, and the staff was great. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
