"This hotel was surprisingly nice in a great location. Let me explain, this is not a new hotel, but it is very well maintained and we were very comfortable here. We rented a car for the duration of our stay, but if you don't have a car, you can easily walk to almost any location near the harbor in Victoria from the hotel. I was initially concerned about the loft room because the bed was upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. This is not super convenient for those who make middle of the night bathroom visits, but it wasn't as bad as anticipated. They could use more storage shelving or drawers in the room, there is nowhere to unpack your stuff, if that's something you like to do. Our luggage ended up cluttering up the downstairs kitchen and living area, pretty much rendering that space useless. We all enjoyed the breakfast, it was predictable but plentiful and all the breakfast staff were friendly, it was a great way to start each day. I would not hesitate to stay here on my next trip to Victoria."
