"Had such a great time at Gava! Valentina and Andrew were both so sweet, and they gave me such great tips for what to do and where to go. The hostel was very clean; you can tell they put a lot of effort into keeping the area tidy! The hostel itself is basically a room off of the main apartment with 4 beds in it, and all common spaces (kitchen, living room, bathrooms, etc.) are shared, which is great for connecting with new people. "Went here for our one year wedding anniversary trip. Expected your typical all inclusive stay, got way more. Typically you don’t go to an all inclusive and expect a culinary experience. The food at the restaurants we went to was amazing. Magna (excellence club only)..the 45oz tomahawk steak.. amazing! at Spice the Sushi! And sashimi. And the food at Agave was amazing. We loved the coffee shop went every night for coffee and a sweet treat. The breakfast buffet was great. Service was wonderful, they cater to you and are so friendly. You can even tell management was involved with interacting with guests. Our room was amazing too we have the two story plunge pool room. We want to go back already and would definitely recommend. One of our favorite trips & it was during hurricane Melissa, the weather wasn’t the best and we still had the best time!!! Also the entertainment!!! Karaoke night, tribute night, they even had acrobatics! It was so much fun! "

I was highly dissapointes by the food and them having very few actual doninican options i feel they need to bring some more authenticity into the food less americanized would make rhe experience rhat much more special !
