"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. "The location was close to the high street and conveniently accessible to nearby attractions in the Cotswolds. The house was cozy and warm, making it a great choice for a family winter getaway for a few days. However, there were a few minor details that could be improved, such as the TV remote lacking batteries (we had to purchase and replace them ourselves) and the kitchen knives being quite dull, which made them difficult to use. These small points aside, we had an enjoyable stay overall."

"The location, parking and cleaniness of apartment was lovely. However on our first evening had a shower and water warm, my daughter had one after and water cold. My wife couldnt have a shower as water too cold, also no warm water to have wash in the bathroom sink. Also could not wash dishes as no hot water in kichen sink. On contacting host told water only heated 7am to 9am and between 5pm and 7pm. My wife had to have a wash by heating water with a kettle :( also the smell of drains in the...

"Excellent hotel, staff and food stuff. Would have liked the room toilet to have a toilet cover though in the room I got so particles don’t go all up in the air after flushes."

"Great location but living on its laurels and in urgent need of refurbishment. Unpleasant stains in the bathroom, only sunflower shower (terrible if you have had a recent and expensive blow dry), just feels shabby and outdated. Shame, as it could be a really nice spot for returning customers. Not me as things stand."

"A beautiful building just near Banbury Cross with a large carpark. It was only a short walk to the old town and through the shopping centre to the canal We enjoyed a modern well appointed large room with sofa and Smart TV in the main building. It was unfortunate that because we were in a corner there wasn't a view of the beautiful gardens. The dining room was contemporary and did have that view. The menu had something for everyone and the food was delicious and incredibly well priced. Portions were large and service great. A good buffet breakfast was available for a small extra on booking. Overall an excellent value overnight stay."

"Stayed here for two nights. The room was clean and spacious. Good facilities in room but it was incredibly hot during our visit so a fridge in room would have improved our stay as no air conditioning but not many days in England you would need it. Breakfast was lovely, small but everything you could want. Evening menu was a bit limited and I probably would go somewhere else for an evening meal. The staff were all excellent, friendly and helpful."

"Had historic room but was up two flights of stairs and no lift. Restaurant meant a walk outside. Weather was good but would be a problem if not. Breakfast was £13. Was ok. Pool was £12 per day which we did not know until we arrived. Plenty of parking and lovely grounds. Some parts greatly in need of refurbishment."
