"We stayed at the hotel as part of Karla and Craig's wedding party .I would like to Thank the hosts Catherine was amazing I can safely say she made everything go smoothly and nothing was too much trouble .from start to finish she was friendly welcoming ,enjoyed a laugh a joke and a song a long with me at breakfast .. nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to what was an emotional day fir both bride and groom . Our roo. Was lovely the food was amazing the grounds were perfect and we all had an amazing time .Catherine you and your team are a dream .. love from Stella and Dave xx"

"We stayed in the family room which was clean and spacious with ceiling fans that kept us nice and cool overnight. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom also spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed delicious meals for dinner and breakfast. I was a little disappointed with the lack of vegetarian choice on the menu (I had just two meal options, neither suitable for a hot summer's evening), but the food I ate was tasty. My daughters both agreed they would like to visit again."

"Beautiful clean room , for an old building the creaky , slopping floors were as expected. Very well stocked breakfast but I wasn’t sure where we were supposed to eat it so we went back to our room so perhaps trays should be provided? My only problem was the wedding / house side , I think it confusing. Even though the staff were very friendly, I felt in the way the next day after check out as the bridal party were setting up for their wedding. Perhaps an area could be set up for non wedding guests? Or are guests expected to leave straight after check out( I was waiting for my lift) I would definitely check if there was a wedding on if I booked again. I don’t think the mix of wedding / normal stays mix."
