"This was our first time in Wales and our first self catering holiday. Could not have picked a better place to stay. The cabana we stayed in was perfect for us (2 adults and 2 young kids). The location is ideal as it’s close to Porthmadog to pop to the supermarket, plus not too far from the nearby sites (including Mt Snowdon). The actual site/resort was stunning, great walks around the site including some nice trails in the woods and passing some beautiful waterfalls. Would recommend to anyone, especially those new to self catering. The bar/restaurant were right next to our cabana and we did have the buffet breakfast on our last morning which I could not fault, also having a nice bar as our doorstep was a nice treat. I would stay again if we were to return to this part of Wales. Finally, we didn’t see or need much of the staffs time but we every interaction was friendly and helpful. "

"My husband and I were meeting a couple of friends here for a get together. We had stayed in J W Lees hotel previously so anticipated it would be good. The entrance through the dining area was very attractive and welcoming. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay. Our room was very spacious with plenty of hanging space. The bathroom was larger than average and the toiletries were good. We loved the water in glass bottles too. Very comfortable bed and lovely amd and clean."

"Property was clean and staff was thoroughly professional. There is no air conditioning--only a problem as climate changes and if you're traveling with very senior parents. Very limited outlets in the room--none by the bed. A problem for modern travelers"

"What a lovely Central Hotel facing the pier, the bed was so comfortable and everywhere was very clean. Coffee, tea, biscuits & chocolates in the room. The breakfast was amazing with good quality bacon & sausage. We was in the family room at the top of the hotel and the only downside was there's no lift but overhaul this hotel is fabulous. Staff are lovely and do a fantastic job. Thankyou"
