Self-confessed "The Lake District's Hidden Jewel"

Posted 12-Sep-2016
Pros: The period features of this hotel are beautiful, and the room bathrooms are wonderfully modern with amazing jet-baths and powerful, hot showers :-)
Cons: The hotel WiFi could be improved
Location: Irton Hall is wonderfully secluded making it ideal if you want peace and quiet - no roar of commercial airlines anywhere = BLISS!
After what should have been a blissful c.5 hour drive from Surrey to Irton Hall, we arrived at the glamorous venue in pitch darkness following an 8 hour adventure in less than glamorous weather. We were, however, extremely pleased to be welcomed by exceptionally helpful staff and an open bar! Breakfast each morning was ample and tasty, and the staff did all they could to enjoy our stay was relaxing and enjoyable.

Good Hotel for 1 night stay

Posted 06-Aug-2016
Good hotel for a short stay. Quite isolated not to many places to dine around. Rooms are very warm during the night. The only thing they need to work on is staff appearance some of them they didn't look very smart.

Peaceful Stay

Posted 02-Aug-2016
My husband and I originally picked Irton Hall because of it's dog friendly policy. We would gladly pick it again even if it was the two of us. Everyone there was very welcoming, from the locals in the area to the staff. Not only is it a dog friendly establishment, but many of the people there love animals. Although it is tucked away there is gorgeous scenery very close by. We enjoyed staying close by and just having dinner at the hotel. There is also a little cafe (The Woodlands) just up the street which was perfect for baked goods or lunch. We are hoping to return one day.

Fint ophold på Irton Hall. Hyggeligt typiskt engelsk Inn. Flot beliggenhed i Lake District. Godt værelse, god mad.
