Good Hotel for 1 night stay

Posted 06-Aug-2016
Good hotel for a short stay. Quite isolated not to many places to dine around. Rooms are very warm during the night. The only thing they need to work on is staff appearance some of them they didn't look very smart.

Peaceful Stay

Posted 02-Aug-2016
My husband and I originally picked Irton Hall because of it's dog friendly policy. We would gladly pick it again even if it was the two of us. Everyone there was very welcoming, from the locals in the area to the staff. Not only is it a dog friendly establishment, but many of the people there love animals. Although it is tucked away there is gorgeous scenery very close by. We enjoyed staying close by and just having dinner at the hotel. There is also a little cafe (The Woodlands) just up the street which was perfect for baked goods or lunch. We are hoping to return one day.

Quaint hotel in the peace and quiet of lake Distri

Posted 09-Jul-2016
My wife and I had an amazing experience at Irton Hall. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, warm, comfortable and cozy. We loved the hotel building as well as the grounds. The full breakfast available the next morning was absolutely wonderful. We would definitely recommend Irton Hall to anyone visiting the lake district.

Another fantastic stay

Posted 07-Jun-2016
Pros: The rooms, the staff, the food.
Cons: A wee bit disappointed with the breakfast, room 12 shower needs looking at,drains slow, and the control handle is loose.
Location: Great for exploring.
Another great stay, the sun was beaming, and we took advantage of the huge lawn area and chilled out with a cool vino, the breakfast was poor though.no sausages, and the bacon was smokey, not what we eat normally,

A lovely hotel in beautiful peaceful surroundings, the staff were friendly and helpful and the bar meals delicious. The room was above our expectations and done out to a high standard with a huge bathroom and jacuzzi bath. We stayed for one night and could easily have stayed another , we will definately try to return in the future. It is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and good value for money.
