"It's a reasonably priced hotel, and my expectations were not high. Broadly the hotel met my expectations, I got a decent sleep, staff were friendly, right in Coventry centre, the lifts worked. But it's tired, and clearly needs a big investment to bring it up to today's standards. If you just need somewhere to sleep for a night, it's fine, but if you want a great all around "vibe", it's not the place to go for."

"I was contacted a few days before by a very nice lady. Asked if we wanted to book a table for the evening we were staying. Asked when we thought we would arrive. Very pleasant and helpful. Registration paper was waiting for us when we arrived. Lovely comfortable room. Very clean. Staff were all lovely and helpful"

"3rd time of staying here, 2nd time I couldn’t have a warm shower in the morning. Rooms do need updating, however very clean. Staff friendly on the whole, however uninterested when I complained about the shower. Food was great in the bar, good atmosphere, and recently refurbished. "

"The hotel had a very strange atmosphere, almost like it had been abandoned. There were only standard TV channels in the rooms, the pillows are too big. It's very dated. Used the Spa area but had to buy a padlock for the locker. "
