"Firstly, the staff were wonderful on arrival, namely Tom and Ron. Though on check out slightly disappointing.
Unfortunately the room cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Bath had hairs in, bathroom floor wasn’t clean and needed to be swept. Soap dispensers had leaked and the bin hadn’t been emptied. There was a sticky residue on the desk area which I assume was from a drink from the previous occupiers. In regards to maintenance of the room, one of the bedside lights didn’t work, two power sockets didn’t work and also the hairdryer. Curtains had come away from the track also.
The real star of the show were the staff, especially Tom on reception who was a lovely bubbly character.
Even with the relatively minor faults, we would stay here again and I’m almost certain if I’d have addressed these issues with the management they would have resolved them or moved us to a different room.
For the price we paid and the level of staff service upon check in we were happy overall."
