Staff were good, and the place is clean. We have stayed there many times before, mainly booked for work trips. However, this trip I was placed in room 105. It’s a room adapted to be disability friendly, which is not necessarily bad, but the bed is about a foot high. It’s also next to the gym, and the treadmills are on the other side of the wall to the headboard. At 6am, the treadmills started, along with the bass-heavy music, and there was to be no more sleep for neither myself nor my husband…. and I was really looking forward to a lie in!

Great in airport location for an early flight..literally a five minute easy walk to terminal. Rooms were comfortable with good bed and extremely sound proofed. Restaurant and bar were convenient, and expectedly expensive for a captive audience.

Had a really nice stay. Was lucky to get a room towards the runway, which has a great view of planes taking off and landing and without hearing them. Would definitely stay here again if un Birmingham
