After having the worst day and then booking last minute and even then booking for the wrong day - Savannah on reception was amazingly helpful and set out to try and make the day better by sorting our room and booking out. Thank you Savannah!! Customer service in the bar and restaurant was also great ...
Lovely grounds, amazing restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Will go again.
Excellent customer service and a good atmosphere. Great view of the stadium from the room!
The most unique thing about this hotel was the cleaner barging in my room at 8:30 in the morning. Has never happened with me before. So that was definitely something quite unique.
Very convient for our visit near to hospital visit
Highly recommended and well situated for the Ricoh Arena and Exhibition Centre.
Easy to find and close to the Ricoh arena. Pool and facilities were great and room was big and comfortable. Pool Instructor was a bit rude but nothing major.
Good hotel for the price I paid. Clean and comfortable. Staff very welcoming. Breakfast very limited so didn’t have any. Very nice stay
Self contained . Very convenient location . Good Price. Quiet location and great car park. Near eating places.
For families visiting the attractions of Coventry, whether on a short city break or longer holiday, it’s important to find the sort of hotel that will cater for your needs. The vast range of accommodation on offer includes everything from small, family-run B&Bs to larger guesthouses, right up to big chain hotels, so it all depends on personal preference. When travelling here with smaller children, check out the facilities beforehand to see whether your proposed accommodation has the family-friendly facilities you require.
In the many family-friendly hotels in Coventry, younger guests will be given as much care as their parents. The ambience is usually more easy-going and the services more personalised than in the bigger chains. These smaller hotels will also have services and facilities designed with younger guests in mind.
The family-friendly hotel you eventually settle on could be in the middle of Coventry, or on the outskirts. Either way, you’ll have convenient access to the city’s many attractions and can also venture farther afield on the excellent road and rail network across Warwickshire. Smaller kids can keep themselves occupied and entertained wherever they are, and if you fancy hanging around the hotel you’ll have facilities such as a crèche, playground and, often, a dedicated toddlers’ club to help you cope. You could hire a childminder while you head out for a meal in the evening, as early suppers and babysitters are a common service in many of these establishments.
The term ‘family-friendly’ can be applied to any hotel or guesthouse that addresses the needs of all family members equally, rather than concentrating on just the adults. They don’t always advertise themselves as such and you’ll have to take a look at the facilities and services on offer before making the booking. You’re bound to find something suitable, so that you’ll have a great, friendly base with everything your family needs to set out from on your exploration of one of England’s most fascinating cities.
