Manchester Marriott Hotel Piccadilly

"Very close to Piccadilly Station but just make sure you exit the right way. Head downstairs for taxis and when down there its a short walk so no problem with wheeled cases. Connecting to wi fi is a pain plus had confusing messages from staff on how to connect. Got there in the end but it's more of a faff than it needs to be. Our room had a view over the back end of Piccadilly Station- not a looker. Suspect better view if you are higher up. Decent AC and shower. Bed was fine. Didn't eat or drink there as lots of better places in Manchester to do that."

"Impressed with our room. It had 2 double beds and a decent sized bathroom. It was clean with comfy beds and thick towels. Food and drink was expensive but you’re a captive audience. The courtesy bus runs 24 hours a day. Would stay here again if we’re flying out of Manchester."

"I had to move rooms on the second day because of an electrical failure in the original room - I couldnt get in. I wasnt alerted to this until I came back to get ready for the concert I had booked and went up to my room. I then had to move to my alternative room two floors up and had to move all my belongings after having to pack myself and had to rush to unpack again and get to the show on time. I questioned the receptionist why hadnt I been contacted and was told as I had a'third party booking' they had no contact details. I found this very concerning - I and my friend had checked into two separate rooms as guests at the hotel and no details were on their system....very lax on security and worrying should an emergency have happened"

"Room was nice and spacious. Bath and shower were nice too. Kettle, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuit provide. Hangers, hairdryer and safe. Staff were welcoming and friendly - highlight of the stay. The lobby and bar were nice too. The lobby also smelt beautiful! The only downside for me was that the fan kept coming on through the night even though I turned it off multiple times and it was so hot and the bed was rock solid which I found uncomfortable"
