"I had a good stay at Villa Sofia! Roberto was a genuinely friendly host. It's a very small hotel so it feels a bit more like a hostel, which I loved. The shared kitchen was a very welcome and practical amenity, especially that there is a supermarket nearby. Some minor inconveniences, by example there was no hot water and the issue was only fixed on the day of checkout. Although Cancun is very hot this time of year so I didn't mind the lukewarm showers. It's also too bad the pool was closed for 2 of the 4 days I was there, and the 2 other days I had other plans so I didn't get to enjoy the pool although it was one of the reasons why I chose this hotel"
