"We enjoyed our stay here and found the staff very friendly. They allowed us to leave our bags for the day while we explored London. (Wanted 15 pounds to check in early - I know this is standard, but the room was ready, so a little disappointing that they wouldn’t do it as a courtesy). Still, I know it’s just their policy, no hard feelings. Gym was adequately equipped, beds were comfortable. The shuttle is an absolute rip off!! About $30 CAD for a sweaty, packed milk run (6.90 pounds each!!). There is a public bus stop right outside the hotel - take the U3 that comes every 10-15 minutes for less than 2 pounds. We took the public bus back and left before ppl waiting for the shuttle. You take the train to whatever terminal - fastest, cheapest and nicest. You’re welcome! 😉 "

"The room was modern and very clean. Easy to get to. It is located at terminal 4 and the bus to terminal 2 stopped right outside the front door. Front desk was very helpful Loved the restaurant,that’s shared with the adjacent Hotel. "

"Great location, just 2 blocks away from Paddington station, where the Tube trains (local subway lines), commuter trains and cross country trains can be accessed. The station also has a mini mall attached with stores and restaurants. We used the tube to travel around the city and surrounding areas. Very convenient. The hotel is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood, very walkable with lots of nice local restaurants nearby. The hotel is an older facility, rooms and bathrooms were small but comfortable. Breakfast is included, served every morning and there is an onsite lounge/bar area for evening cocktails. It’s not air conditioned, but our open window and a fan kept us quite comfortable, even a little chilly at night. Our trip was in late May, so not sure if it would be the same during summer months. There is a lovely, huge park nearby with a beautiful lake, walking and bike riding trails, and beautiful gardens. If you walk through the park, ~a 2 mile walk, on the other side you’ll be close to some major attractions, e.g., Harrods and more. It’s such a lovely area, and I would definitely stay at the Mitre House again"

"Excellent staff who were gracious before during and after my stay. It’s a walk up so be aware, but I loved the ambiance and the view from the big, big window in the tiny, tiny room. Will visit again."
