Overall this was a really nice hotel. They attempt to use a theme of being "hip" and "modern". It works well in the room, as all your room comfort, such as lights, curtains, AC are all controlled via iPad. The room was excellent! We also visited the rooftop bar and pool area, which was also very pleasant and relaxing. The hotel is only about a 20 minute walk from the Marina area and the street food area outside the hotel makes it a very convenient location. We only used taxi service, and found the taxi rates to and from the airport really inexpensive. There is a Costa Coffee shop in the same building and a Starbucks just a block away. The room had a small mini-bar with a few drinks and snacks, which were complimentary. The breakfast buffet was very impressive and tasty. The only complaint we really had was the lack of a business center. We needed to check our flights and print out boarding passes and they advised that they did not have any way of doing this. This was the first 4 star hotel we have ever been to that did not have a way for you to print out your boarding passes.

This is a very new hotel, the renovation is better than Marine Bay Sands Hotel, but don't know why the room is a bit smelly,
If the room smells good, then it will be a perfect hotel, because there are a lots to eat nearby, fruits, Korean food, Singapore good etc.

Comfortable, clean hotel in great location near China Town with easy access to trains. Some good local bars just around the corner.
Not much space for hanging clothes and nowhere near a mirror to plug in hairdryer.
Only drawback was in-house restaurant which was expensive and overall very poor.

This is a nice hotel in Chinatown not to far from metro stations. The room was rather small but still ok for Singapore standards. Our room was clean and the staff was nice and helpful. Although our room had window it was half covered with wooden blind so not much use really (but again not too bad for Singapore). Overall good value for money.

First time visitors to Singapore, this hotel provided an excellent position to explore.
Great location, close to the heart of Chinatown, with a huge amount of restaurants & shops within easy reach.
The only complaint would be the size of the room; we booked for three adults and one child, featuring two queen beds which, whilst manageable was not entirely comfortable.
Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful, the room is clean enough... However since it is locate a wee bit far from the Main Street, you really need to allow yourself some extra time to get a taxi especially in the peak hour.
Chinatown is a maze of streets packed with colorful pre-war shophouses selling bric-a-brac, clothing, antiques and Chinese herbs. Expect good bargains along Tengganu, Temple, and Pagoda Streets, and the best food on Smith Street. The big malls are located along New Bridge Road. Visit Chinatown Heritage Center, see the ornamental Sri Mariamman Hindu temple, or hop on a trishaw for a tour.
