"These apartments were in the perfect location.beautifully clean and hassle free. Parking space is a huge bonus too as we could walk up and down to the beach from our van, leaving body and surf boards then pop back down to the beach again. I would say the only drawback was having no privacy atall on the decked area at the back. There is a very low wall dividing each apartment so didn't feel we could sit out there really. "The position of the hotel with amazing sea views and beautiful surrounding scenery was very special. Inside the hotel inside was beautiful in an old fashion way but in character for the age of the hotel. The only thing that was a bit strange was the shower and toilet cubicle in the bedroom but again when the hotel was built there would not have been on suite bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome. We had a lovely afternoon tea in the most beautiful surroundings with fantastic views."

"The room was excellent the bathroom a little tired with no separate shower. There was no hot water on one of the mornings. The view from the room/balcony was stunning. The continental breakfast was good although there were no warm croissants. The cooked breakfasts were not very freshly cooked, especially the scrambled eggs and bacon. The Bay Bar staff were very pleasant and the food excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it and would stay there again."
