The whole stay was amazing. The staff, the amenities, the lodge, the grounds … everything. My family loved the place and would definitely come back again. Clean rooms, swimming pool and spa, tennis courts, mini football playing field, walk ways, etc were amazing.

The staff were so welcoming, the restaurant staff were very helpful arranging suitable meals with the chef for my partner who has dietary requirements. Our room was excellent along with the spa, we had a very enjoyable 6 night stay and hope that we will be able to return in the not too distant future.

The hotel and room were spotless. It was a very comfortable stay and we’ll certainly return. The wet spa was first class and we enjoyed the pool and steam room each day. The gym was small but well equipped. The grounds were well maintained with facilities for children.

Excellent standard for a dog friendly hotel. Whilst the team behind the bar could not of been friendlier and helpful a warmer welcome on arrival would have made the whole experience perfect. Will definitely be booking again as so easy and wonderful that our fur pups are so welcomed 👍

Overall, we had a nice stay. The grounds are lovely, with plenty to do for families, and the cabin was comfortable with cosy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, a few issues let it down. Our cabin had no Wi-Fi throughout our stay despite reporting it on the first day, and the kitchen lights and some electrical didn’t work. The spa changing rooms could also really do with a refresh as the walls are damp and not in a good way. The reception staff were pleasant enough, but I expected a more proactive response to these issues from a 4-star hotel. A great location with good facilities, but the maintenance and customer service need improvement

We really enjoyed our stay here. The only downside was the condition of the tennis courts. We specifically looked for a hotel with a tennis court and the photos on the website looked great. Unfortunately the courts seem to have been neglected. Only one had a net and the surface was really not safe to play on. I think the misleading photos need removing from the website, or the courts need attention. Other than that we had a great stay. The gym and pool areas are great.
