"Beautiful sea view .Can’t fault anything .I have been there twice .Both times I was happy there ."
"Really recommend this hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived to when we left. Was delightful to be child free for a few days. Spa treatments were excellent. Come here if you're looking for a grown up beach break with spectacular views, lovely (albeit sometimes blustery, but that added to the fun) walks over the headlands and yummy restaurants in easy walking distance. We particularly liked being this side of Newquay for Crantock Beach behind the hotel, really really pretty. The crab and prawn sandwiches at the Fern Pit Cafe were to die for. But you were still easy walking distance to the Town Centre. Dinner and drinks at Lewinnick Lodge just up the road was fabulous. We also hopped on the coastal bus to Padstow for the afternoon one day which we also recommend, but make sure you book a taxi weeks in advance if you're coming home late (highly recommend Rick Stein's seafood restaurant there - nom!) as getting a taxi back was the only hassle of our trip."

"Fantastic property looking out over beach. Enjoyed using the balcony and had a local
Chinese which was lovely.
We had very hot weather and appreciated the beach and use of the body boards af the property. Fantastic facilities and property- highly recommend.
If i had to think of something slightly negative them i woukd say squeezing a single bed in to the 2nd bedroom with a kingsize bed is a little ambitious because space was a bit tight but also understand the reasons for this in a holiday let.
This property is decorated to a high standard and has fantastic facilities- would stay here again."

"This is a lovely hotel. The location is superb and the cleanliness is excellent. Parking was perfect & safe. The hotel is right in the centre of Newquay with easy access to all the town and beaches.
Only negative, Steam bar. With the exception of the lunchtime staff that seemed a different team, the staff didn't seem to really want to be there. The first night of my stay I met friends in the bar, and the staff were so keen to get us out at around 10.30pm that breakfast condiments etc were being slammed down onto the tables & lights were being turned off. I was embarrassed. It's not cheap to stay in a hotel like this and then to feel a lack of respect or even a hinderance, was terrible. The female leader of this team and the night shift manager seemed to be the instigators of this attitude. Then on the final night, we went back for food and drinks, as we had been elsewhere in Newquay on other nights and been terrifically welcomed, only to have a lot of menu sell outs, queues of 1.5 hours for food and not only that, the tall bespectacled barman really did seem angry with the customers. Not a good experience. Fortunately, the beer garden offers the most spectacular view of the sunset that you'll ever see and this took our mind off an otherwise disappointing experience. I'd stay at the hotel again but would keep my previous experience in mind while using Steam."
