"Hotel old and dated. Childrens area ok. Tables left for ages un cleared. Ants of table at reception and later found one in the fridge in my room. Rooms very hot and only a fan to help cool down which doesnt do much. Not enough staff at breakfast to help re stock or clear tables. Stayed at this hotel 2 separate nights before and after cruising with 2 kids and both times asked for early check in if possible and neither times was our room ready before the 3pm check in. I understand they have to clean the rooms but i was willing to pay extra to get into the room earlier, i thought they might have asked the maid to do our room as priority but no. Drinks in hotel were very expensive so we only had 2. Overall it was ok but i wouldnt stay again "

"This hotel was clean, and the rooms were spacious. Customer Service was outstanding. It’s very very close to the cruise port. There were many restaurant/pubs nearby! We would definitely stay there again!"

"Great hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Lewis is a real credit to the team. Tidy, clean and well maintained. The only thing we saw that was dirty was the sticky lift doors everything else was immaculate. Beds were really comfy, great bedding, shower great. Nice size tv. I was really pleased the kettle was sparkling, its one of the things that bothers me in hotels, if the kettle is gross and full of limescale. Really enjoyable stay. Would recommend and go back if i needed to stay in the area again. "

"Stayed here as visiting St Mary's Stadium for a football match. About a 30 minute walk. Room was spacious and clean and good value for money. There is ample car parking"

"Accommodation was ok and staff were friendly, clean rooms couldn’t ask for much more. The restaurant let the hotel down. Firstly when my husband asked about booking a table the first waiter wasn’t friendly. We ordered a mocktail which never came we had to query it before they realised it’s because they ran out of mint. The food was ok but expensive, not many vegetarian options. They advertised sticky toffee pudding which was actually syrup pudding with a pot of toffee sauce. I was gutted was so looking forward to it ask don’t eat puddings often. when I queried it the waiter they thought I was weird, I suggest you google sticky toffee pudding recipe! Great that children under 5 eat free but no vegetarian option on the menu, we had to ask, when it came out it was missing veg which was advertised. Breakfast was ok, although the cooked breakfast buffet had no vegetarian options and they used caged eggs! Shameful i hope they find it in their conscious to move to free range. Would stay in the accommodation again but would find somewhere else to eat!"

"The room was clean and spacious. The bed was too soft for my liking and I found it uncomfortable. Other than that, it was a nice room. The hotel is a little run down in places but it has a relaxed atmosphere and never felt busy. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was tasty and there was a great selection of food. We did have to wait for food to be replenished which was a bit disappointing."
