Lovely stopover
Lovely 1 night stopover. Cosy bar & restaurant with nice decor, very tasty food and good selection of beers. The rooms are clean & decorated to a good standard.

First class all round in each category with one minor caveat. I have given 4 stars for "comfort" as we only had one (rather rickety) chair in bedroom. The room was big enough to accommodate two comfortable chairs.

The Crown Inn
Stayed just one night but it was lovely. Room was excellent and included an very tasty breakfast (we had full English). Staff were amazing. Made our stay very pleasant. Thank you [just one little comment - more breakfast teabags in the room please 😊]

The Crown Inn - A hidden gem!
Recently refurbished and in excellent order. The room as cosy, clean and had some relly nice touches to make it feel personal. The food in the bar/restaurant was awesome; plenty of it and really tasty, excellent value. A special shout out to Camille who was front of house and who couldn't do enough for us while we were there; friendly, accommodating and generally made us feel very comfortable.

One night stay
Nice room. Went for a one night stay. Reasonable price and breakfast included. Unfortunately toilet wouldn’t flush which was obviously annoying. Reported in the morning and was told waiting a refurbishment shortly. Mmm I think the toilet is a necessity really.

Nice stopover pub

Another pleasant stay which is very convenient only being 5 minutes off the motorway in lovely surroundings. The breakfast was as good as usual - a nicely presented full English breakfast set me up for the day.

Expedia causing payment problems
On arrival the hotel had a oroblem with expedia, we had paid on booking with Hotels.com, but Expedia refused the virtual card payment to the hotel. Luckily the manager helped us to stay whilst he dealt with the problem. This has happened before when I pay on booking.

The rooms were clean, beautifully furnished and spacious. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, really delicious and many wonderful choices for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!

Great little Inn, the pub is upfront with motel-type rooms in the back. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. It was convenient for our travels through the Cotswolds, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely room, excellent accessible bathroom/wet room. Attention to detail - flask of milk, cafetière, range of teas and coffees, satellite tv, iron and ironing board. Very comfy bed and plump pillows, free WiFi, lots of plug sockets! And a lovely gastronomy pub with excellent food. always stop there for lunch on way to Bath, but this was the first ti e staying in the accommodation. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely country pub
Lovely room in a purpose-built block away from the pub. As others have said, it is quite near to the A46 and you can hear vehicles but it didn't prevent a good night's sleep. Very comfortable bed and lots of nice little touches. Breakfast was delicious and so nice to have a choice of hot food - I had a shakshouka which was delicious!

A bit of updating beds and wet roomwould
Room was fine but did not like the wet room it was definately in need of refurbishing it was cleaned again which made it just about usable but the whole room stayed steamy for hours. My bed had to have a duvet placed under the sheet to soften the spring stickibg out.

Nice country Inn
Stayed recently and had a comfortable couple of nights stay. The outside rooms are spacious and clean and were serviced each day. The food in the pub is very good as was the service. Good selection of food and juices were available for breakfast including freshly cooked English. So thank you you to all the staff. Mike
