"The property location & general cleanliness of the property was of a high standard. The only thing that let it down was the changing rooms of the gym needed to be cleaned."

"Great hotel for an overnight stay. Short walk to the BIC and town, staff friendly and helpful. Car park underneath was secure but no direct access in to the hotel but worth it for peace of mind. Room was excellent, bed really comfy and ensuite was a good standard. All you can eat buffet breakfast really good with lots of choice and check in and out was painless, would stay again and recommend."

"One of the cleaning staff thinks she sly comes in your room knowing it's in use it's happened everytime iv stayed there apart from 1 time and iv been there a more then a few times"

"A very well used hotel not as special as I had expected. The air conditioning didn’t work in the room and no windows that open. The windows were not kept clean and hadn’t been for a long time which was very evident in the dining and reception area. The swimming pool was not clean be it the end of day when we went into the pool. There was a considerable amount of hair and fluff floating and the changing area was not kept clean. Floors were wet and clumps of hair in numerous places. Thus I didn’t return to the swimming area. Breakfasts were not good. Eggs were over cooked and bacon too hard to eat. Not enough variety."

"Unfortunately this beautiful hotel is going into disrepair and needs renovations. Breakfast was average. Above all, they need to pay for cleaning as almost every corridor needs cleaning. Room was small but sadly not clean! I rather not to look at the radiator as it was full of cog-webs, spots, .. I love the location and the communal areas and live music. I always come back only for the good atmosphere."

"Not a good stay. Arrived and waited to check in with some other customers at the reception, while 3 members of staff chatted bwtween them ignoring us for nearly 5mins. The eventually started to greet the guests. We stayed in a family room on thw first floor. Hotel is very tired and run down. Had rotting drain smell in areas. First room had hair and dirt on the floor of bathroom and towels with blood stains. Reported this to staff who reluctantly gave us new towels. Then found no shower gel in bathroom and dirty carpet in bedroom. Complained again after first night. Got offered a new room for seccond nite. Told to go havw breakfast and come back later to get new key and move room. Used pool and leisure changing rooms. Which were filthy. Got to hotel only to be spoken to with raised voice about failing to change room first thing this morning as we had gone out as they advised. After an arguement got new room. In new room there was no bin, no shower gel, musty smell, dirty carpet. Reported to reception who wrote it in housekeeping book. No action taken to resolve. Complained in morning as needed to shower. Waited 45 mins for someone to get shower gel. Will never stop here again!"
