"Be aware that there is a $40 per day destination fee. They also charge $50 if you want to check in early and charge to have a mini fridge in your room. Unheard of! They nickel and dime you for standard features. Also, Originally they put me in a room where the air conditioning wasn’t working, and there was some kind of makeshift air conditioner in there and my view was of a trashcan. They got us another room, but I was disappointed that they would put us in a room that was old and musty and looked like it should’ve been closed for renovation rather than putting us there for a four day stay originally. The front desk staff is not that friendly, but the hotel location is amazing. Close to everything and quiet and peaceful at night. We would stay there again, but I do feel like they may need to step up their front desk customer engagement. "
"Everything was great- the room was big and super clean and lovely for our family of 4.
Only small hiccup was our room wasn’t ready right at 4pm as promised."
"I missed the 11:30pm train but thankfully Citizens is right next door. I was able to book the room and check in within 10 minutes. I was so happy with my room, I had an amazing view. Nice clean shower and space for a single person or couple. Will always stay at Citizens when I go to Boston now!"
"My wife and I absolutely love staying at this property. Ever since we found it we’ve never stayed anywhere else. We are being in the north end and right at this point in it. It’s very quiet. It’s very nice and relaxing and easy to get into town."
