Our stay had truly personalized service. The staff really went the extra mile with the details and service. The cocktail hour was very nice touch.I felt like I was staying with friends rather than strangers I had just met. Very different feel than a larger'mainstream" hotel. Spacious nice rooms for a hotel located in the heart of a major city...and great location!
Greeted with warm smiles and hearty welcome to The Godfrey and I knew we made a good choice! The central location to \The T, great shopping and short walk to Chinatown for late night dinner. Top end amenities, luxurious white towels, fresh crisp linens and 55" screen! Plus free breakfast! What more could a traveler ask?
Perfect location, especially for the Boston marathon. The staff was awesome and so supportive of the race too. They even put staff in the entry to cheer every person coming back from the race. Lots of little touches that make it extra special
This was our second stay at the hotel and it didnt disappoint. Staff super friendly at check in and check out - easy and quick. we got upgraded so stayed at a nice suite - clean and spacious, decent light. bathrooms are generous and you get first class product (I dont care but my wife does).
Restaurant downstairs is fine. I wouldnt say great or bad. Service was a little slow but food quality was good.
The hotel has a relationship with a giant gym next to it, so the workout facilities are first class in every way. Nicest gym I'd been to in a while.
Hotel is on a one way street so it can be a pain to navigate there. parking closeby can be a pain and we valet parked. be sure to allow for a good 15 mins for them to grab your car.
Great location, nice hotel, excellent service. I'm a happy customer.
Hi Hostel Boston offers a great youth hostel experience. The rooms were clean, enforced quiet hours after 11pm, friendly staff. Free bag check until check-in, though there is a fee if you want to leave your bag after check out. Linens were included, with extra blankets. There were ample bathrooms relative to beds. Lockers by the beds, with a small light and outlets; this made the space feel more secure and comfortable. Remember to bring a lock for lockers!
Pocket Guide: Theatre District Theatre District Hotels
Boston’s centerpiece is the Common, America’s oldest public park. The park features a historic graveyard, Swan Boats, and the Frog Pond—an ice skating rink in the winter. The gold dome of the state house sits above the common. The area is heavy with history, and visitors can find references to founding fathers even among the modern buildings of the Theatre District and Downtown Crossing.
