Lovely clean room with four poster bed, great breakfast to set you up for the day. Friendly staff & not forgetting snowball the resident cat who sits on the reception desk waiting to greet you. The patio garden opposite is a fantastic place to sit at the end of the day with a drink looking across to a floodlit Wells Cathederal. Hotel is situated just around the corner from the market place. Ample parking at the rear of the hotel.

The reception staff who greeted us (two young men) were the most friendly, polite and efficient you could ever wish for - a credit to your hotel.

Clean, modernised hotel with very friendly, accommodating staff. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay they again if in the area.

Considered loop walk based in Litton, Somerset. Large car park at inn close to quaint village of Litton. Great welcome by Ben and George. Upgrade room and tour. Noticed thoughtful inclusion of easy access room and adjoining carer's room. Cosy inn outside and in. Chilled front patio and rear deck area by stream. Blankets supplied! Dinner and breakfast good. Very comfortable rooms, very clean and they are lovely and well designed. Really cold out and lovely and warm inside! We had an evening meal which was really nice and the breakfast was really good as well. Fresh fruit salad, . You cannot find a fault with this hotel, just enjoy it. What a fab place. Near to Wells and lots of other places.

Property was easy to find, included parking and I had a lovely welcome by David, the host. Exactly what I was looking for and all I required, a bed with breakfast, which was superb by the way. I had a full English. Everything was spotlessly clean, towels supplied, toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities in room. Was a pleasant walk into Glastonbury. I will definitely book again when I next want to stay in Glastonbury.

The George at Nunney lived up to other previous reviews I had read, Staff very freidly and efficient, lovely bar and dining area,our supper and breakfast were both excellent All in all a very nice place for a weekend break.

Fantastic clean room, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Evening meal was great and so was the breakfast, loads of choice. Lovely friendly staff.

A lovely stop over with our dog. Room was fine and bed comfy. Ensuite bathroom was also fine and clean. Food in the pub was good and fresh especially the breakfast. Dog given a sausage which he was very greatful for. A perfect stop over in a peaceful location

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel this week. Rooms were amazing and the staff were all very cheery. Only criticisium would be with the food. Meals were gorgeous and very well presented but the bar snacks were deceiving and too "fine dining". I wanted proper nachos not some grilled flat bread. Overall amazing place to stay.

From the welcome to the little extras like fresh milk and home made jam, plus perfectly clean and comfortable, makes this place a little gem

We had driven past the George on our way to a further destination in October and decided to have Sunday lunch there on our way back as it looked rather stunning. We had a fantastic Sunday roast. We then decided a Xmas treat was due and we chose to stay the night on the 19th of December. Our expectations were met with overall high standards. Me and doggo booked 3 nights here in mid May, due to the nature of having a dog it’s fair to say that you get used to life without fancy rooms and expensive furnishings and smart bathrooms….the Sidcot Arms was everything that we weren’t expecting. It was fancy and posh and modern and light and airy and new (literally only just renovated). We had a fantastic stay here in one of the new deluxe rooms. The room was incredibly comfortable, very well furnished and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of hot dishes (special praise for the eggs benedict) alongside fruit juices, pastries, yogurt etc. We also had an evening meal in the pub which was again very nice. It was perfect. We had an early morning flight from Bristol and it was just around the corner. Self check in and out made everything really simple and the accomodation was perfect. Love my little touches throughout showing an extra special effort had been made. Great shower, which is really important to us.
