"Room was superficially fine but a little dirty in places (black mould in the shower). Service at breakfast was slow and quality of the food no better than average. Surroundings of the hotel are great for a walk in the evening and exercise facilities better than most hotels. "

"What an excellent property we found! 12 of us stayed for mum's 65th birthday. Welcomed to the smell of mulled wine & mince pies. Nicely decorated for Christmas throughout. Fantastic, peaceful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. No need to take anything other than clothes, the property had everything needed. Owners were fantastic. Great communction beforehand. Would definitely return again."
