"Lovely staff who did everything to help me throughout my stay"

"Stayed two times first time all good second time all ok except for breakfast as large que due to not enough food on full English so had long wait and when fresh arrived it soon went due to queue, wife came back with very little and I went for mine again still long queue waited mentioned to staff told on the way took a while for queue to get food I nearly gave up but I was hungry, so maybe use McDonalds Nxt door in future Shame"

"Hotel and spa was just what we were looking for, unfortunately there was a wedding/reception going on which made for a long wait to check in. Room was very clean and spacious, we had a meal at the racer bar which was good."

"This was a quick stop over on a work trip. All I needed was a clean bed and bathroom and that’s what I got. Yes it’s dated and there’s no fanciness but you get what you pay for! Staff very polite and helpful. Big thanks!"

"The room was clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made for a comfortable stay. However, my check‑in was delayed because Hotels.com sent the hotel incorrect details for my booking — specifically, the wrong first name. As a result, the staff had to spend time verifying that the reservation was actually mine. Everything else on the booking was accurate except for the first name. I’m not sure how this happened, especially since I’ve used Hotels.com to book this same hotel several times without any issues. It would be helpful if this could be looked into to prevent similar delays in the future."

"I always try to stay here when in the area. It's clean, nice rooms, good wifi, pleasant staff, great parking, and the breakfast is lovely (which is the main part when working away). Already booked my next room for when I'm in the area again next month."

"The staff were very good and evening meal and breakfast very nice. Very disappointed with the fact the key card holder said the bar opened TV12 noon on Saturday but when we asked staff they said it was not open until 3pm. We had arranged to meet friends in the bar at 12 noon so we all had to go into town before the football match which was the purpose of our stay. Maybe someone can amend the information."
