Parking and location was fine and staff were really friendly, if a little unprofessional (walking a dog in the dining room in the morning for example). It was also reasonably priced, although not that much cheaper than some other hotels, where I feel we would have been more comfortable. Breakfast was poor (after being offered full English or continental as breakfast options, I asked what the continental option comprised and was told ‘cereal’!) so I opted for toast. The room smelt musty and the carpet near the bathroom was damp. The mattress was lumpy and also felt slightly damp, and the rubber pillow was entrenched with the odour of previous occupants, which included a smoker. The room was tatty and in desperate need of refurbishment. Also, the plug sockets were nowhere near the mirrors, making hair-drying quite difficult.

An over priced hovel..smelled of damp..depressing decor if you can call it decor..little electric radiator took for ever to warm room..bathroom.had no heating that worked..no bath plug....all this exellence for over £40 a night..feel ripped off to say the least...omg.never again
