"Lovely peaceful location just around the corner from the beach. Small shop, cafes and bar near by, we’d recommend a visit to the ice cream parlour - lots of flavours with vegan and doggy options. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Check-in was seamless and the host responded quickly to all communications. Only downside was no enclosed outside space for our dogs"

"Very welcoming and friendly. We arrived after midnight and left very early the next day so didn’t have much experience of the facilities but the receptionist was very helpful, The only negative was that the central heating came on at 5 and the radiators needed bleeding so it sounded like someone was running a bath, Not an issue to us as we were leaving early and we did point it out so that they could put right for next guests. The hotel looked lovely though and we were sorry not to be able to take advantage of more of the facilities."

Rooms were good and we were travelling as a family at short notice and they managed to put the rooms next to each other as no adjoining rooms were available. Good drinks/tea/coffee/water/biscuits etc provided in the room. Our 13 year old used the pool but luckily the 11 year old had something else to do as they're only allowed in for just 1 hour a day which is rather restrictive. We would have like to have breakfast but it was a little pricey and room service added £4 per tray. It would have been good if we could have ordered a tray to share but that's not available so we skipped breakfast at the hotel. Very comfy beds!"

"Amazing hotel with a fun history. It has seen better days of course, some areas a bit cold or looking old. But it is a very impressive building, and I was delighted with my stay. The garden and the terrace at the back are great and when you go up to the terrace it's a nice view to the sea. It's a good location, and right beside the Russel Coates Museum which is definitely worth a look."
