"The resort is quite old and in some spots pretty rundown. The cleaning team does a great job with what they have. when it comes to the support staff We found a range between some who were kind and helpful and others who seemed as if they were a bit hungover and couldn't be bothered"

"Lovely Scottish hotel, clean well equipped bedrooms. Public areas well maintained and on site Italian restaurant very good. Disappointing no gym access as renovating but did use the pool areas in Highland hotel across the road. Dated facilities, changing rooms not great. But as a family pool area does what needed. Great base for exploring Aviemore. Well done attentive helpful staff!"

Cairngorms Flower Lodge

"Very clean throughout and more roomy than most lodges/statics I have been to. Its a tiny 5 min walk into town and free fishing on the river! Kitchen is good and useful.Only issues we had were the showers. Both are powerful add warm bit the shared one holder doesn't work so it needs to be constantly held whilst in use. And the ensuite drain is very slow draining and after a minute you are 1 inch in water and increasing.DVD player needs upgraded as poor quality on TV but not factoring that into my stars as wasn't there for dvds."

"A great location to explore all the adventures the Cairngorms has to offer! Very friendly staff who greeted you with kindness. The breakfast offering was great especially as I am gluten free. My room was well equipped and the bed was super comfy. Being on the side of the road my room rattled a little when a big vehicle passed but not a huge issue! A lovely stay and would look to book this again!"
