No disabled parking spaces full stop parking is first come first served regardless of disability. Hotel is set back from the road, right next to the train station so was difficult to find when arriving by car. Rang reception directions-would have helped if reception said they were next to the train station.
Hotel is tired and areas need updating eg function/breakfast room.
Noise from bottle bin/bins being emptied outside our room woke us up early.
Breakfast was continental-pre-packaged items pre placed on the tables...included croissant, fruit, small boxes of cereal & muffins. These were fine, however lot of wastage as the items were thrown away if the guests didn't use them. Better method would be to ask the guest what they wanted from a list of available items.
Wi-Fi was non-existent in our room. Only managed to get service in the hotel lobby. Restaurant (Ash) search some nice food, and the atmosphere was good. Afternoon tea was also worth the money - served in the hotel lobby.
This could be an amazing hotel if they had the money to bring it back to its glory days. At present, the main staircase is the key selling point and it's struggling to stay afloat due to Covid. It's ok for a few days in Inverness, but don't expect too much.
