The Speyside Hotel had lovely rooms, great staff, and incredible food. A perfect location for visiting famous distilleries nearby or going fishing in the beautiful river Spey.

Great 2 night stay, lovely evening meal & substantial breakfast. The property was clean, well maintained & staff very all very good & we really enjoyed how peaceful it was. Really enjoyed the Piper at dinner it was a really nice touch.Would stay here again.

Mark and Lucy run an excellent small family hotel. Lucy is an excellent chef. Do yourself a favour and book dinner in when making your booking - the food, largely made from local produce, is excellent.

If you're looking for a non-chain accommodation and a local experience, I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is suitable for those looking for a good base point to travel around the area. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Extensive whisky selection at the bar and fairly priced. Would come back again to explore more of the area.

Hotel was great very welcoming food was nice but restaurant gets very busy so would pre book . Breakfast was chosen the night before with a tick menu all was fresh and good. Would recommend this hotel for touring the area we travelled by motorcycles the parking area was large and felt safe at night.

The room was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was delicious! For some reason, many of the places we stayed (including this one) did not provide conditioner. Not a huge deal, but thought I’d note for future guests. It is a cute small town and convenient to hiking destinations. Also note there is not central air and the windows do not open more than a few inches, so on hot days, the room gets very stuffy. Not the fault of the hotel, though!

We really enjoyed our stay here and everything was as described. We received a friendly welcome upon arrival and were checked in quickly. Our room was spacious, warm, clean and comfortable. We had a drinknat the well stocked bar before dinner each night and retured for another after eating. The food was simply delicious at both breakfast and dinner with plenty of choices and special requirements catered for. We really hope to return for a further visit at some point.
