Staying in Amsterdam for a cultural visit to all the great museums and a visit to Anne Frank's house.
Fabulous hotel in great location-the Hallen district is a very short tram ride away from centre. Lots of great shops and cafes. Efficient and friendly staff coupled with super hotel .
Loved the hotel itself. Lots of opportunities to meet other people around your age (young 20s).
If you're interested in Amsterdam nightlife make sure you know your way around well. Know exactly where and when to catch the night bus. Hotel staff gave me false information about where I can catch the correct bus and I ended up getting lost and walking the streets of Amsterdam at night alone. Took me 3 hours to get home that night (only one night bus goes that way, once per hour).
I had an excellence time at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There were many services available whether it be the fitness room or 24hr reception.
In terms of location for myself was great. It was a stone throw away from the local centre, which had everything from McDonald's to phone and coffee shops.
Then simply to get to central was one simple 30 minute team journey. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to a friend and hope to spend future visits there again.
Everything good about this hotel apart from building works. Been told it should be finished June. On outskirts but Tram just around corner. The Train is either two stops on Tram or 15min walk. Hotel gave easy to follow map.
