"Hotel Not Hotel was a super cool experience - we stayed in one of the bookshelf rooms. Takes a bit to get used to the limited space - but very doable! The vibe of the whole place is incredible - very chill, but LOTS to look at. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and provided some great food recommendations for us to check out (Foodhallen - where we also received recommendations from folks working there!). It was quite hot - however - we knew that going in, and doorstops are available so you can prop your shelf/door open and hang out in some of the comfy chairs in the shared area while the fan does the work and cools off the room "

"The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was also good, though it had less variety than the other hotels in which I stayed in the same trip, located in Finland, Sweden, and Denmark. The room was a comfortable size with a nice bathroom, and had a "temperature regulation" system, not AC. Since the weather was cool, this was not a problem. The location is perhaps the least desirable for this hotel: It is walking distance (8mins with luggage) to a transit station, but outside of the center of Amsterdam."

"We stayed here for 2 nights in August with our 2 children in a quad room - the room was very smart and well enough equipped for us. The sound and light insulation were excellent and the aircon was quiet enough to leave on at night. The hotel is super convenient for the tram but also not far from Sloterdijk Station. Staff were very helpful and leaving luggage on the last day was no problem. Highly recommend and I wouldn't hesitate to use again!"
